winter walk

no photos to share yet (need to take film to the lab this weekend for processing) but I thought I would take some time to post some musings on yesterday's photo stroll- the first with my newly repaired H3.

I decided to take a walk just a few short blocks from my downtown day-job office space; the air was super crisp and clear, with just a few stringy clouds to break up the blue sky...a PERFECT winter's day. I started walking and casting my gaze slightly upward at the trees scattered throughout the city landscape- some small and skinny, others tall and majestic.

as I walked, I noticed how each tree, while stripped bare of their foliage during the cold winter months, had it's own unique look- vast and intricate networks of branches stretching upward and outward....
